HOOSIER TIRE CALIFORNIA SPEEDWEEK RETURNS JULY 1-5 WITH MICRO SPRINT EXCITEMENT

STOCKTON, Calif. (March 7, 2025) – The eighth running of the Hoosier Tire California Speedweek is set to roll to all three of California’s Micro Sprint dirt tracks this summer, racing July 1-5 at Plaza Park Raceway, Lemoore Jet Bowl, and Delta Speedway. Five divisions will compete in California Speedweek for the first time with the addition of the growing winged A-Class to a roster which includes the Super 600, Non-Wing, Restricted, and Jr. Sprints divisions. Registration is open now on MyRacePass and at www.CASpeedweek.com and is $300. Registration fees increase by $50 on June 23rd.

119 drivers participated in the thrilling 2024 Hoosier Tire California Speedweek. Stockton’s Caden Sarale, Glendale, Ariz.’ Austin Torgerson, Bakersfield’s Blayden Graham, and Riverdale’s Mackcen Roush claimed the “big bears” as series champions. All 20 features and five champions in 2025 will continue to be awarded the prized wooden bear trophies.

Action kicks off on July 1st at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia. Lemoore Jet Bowl welcomes the tour on July 2nd. Plaza Park hosts the series again on July 3rd. An off day for Independence Day on July 4th is followed by championship night on July 5th at Stockton’s Delta Speedway.

California Speedweek has been the proving ground for some of the top young drivers in the country. Prior champions include World of Outlaws driver Gio Scelzi, USAC National Sprint Car race winner Mitchel Moles, Northern Auto Racing Club contenders Dylan Bloomfield and Gauge Garcia, and many more. Series alumni span race winners in USAC, NARC, WoO, High Limit, CARS Tour on pavement, and many other tracks and series. Three-time series champion Caden Sarale leads all drivers with 11 Speedweek triumphs.

Event live streaming coverage will be produced by Kyler Shaw and Fast Four Media. More than $58,500 in cash and prizes were awarded in the 2024 edition. Last season’s California Speedweek attracted entries Arizona, California, Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Texas, Washington, and Australia.
