2024 HOOSIER TIRE CALIFORNIA SPEEDWEEK ANNOUNCED FOR JULY 2-6
STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (April 19, 2024) – The Hoosier Tire California Speedweek returns for its seventh running of Micro Sprint action across Central California, July 2-6, 2024. The series will span Lemoore Raceway on July 2, Visalia’s Plaza Park Raceway on July 3, and conclude with a two-fer at Stockton’s Delta Speedway on July 5 and 6. The traditional division lineup of Super 600, Non-Wing, and Restricted Micro Sprints returns, along with a special 20-car entry limit for the sport’s youngest drivers in Jr. Sprints. All four divisions will race for the coveted carved wooden bears throughout the four races in five nights spectacle.
Car count will be limited to 130 total entries, including 40 each for Super 600 and Non-Wing, 30 Restricted, and 20 Jr. Sprints. Series officials reserve the right to alter the car count makeup to reach 130 total entries.
Registration will open on MyRacePass on Tuesday April 23 at 8 a.m. Pacific time for all drivers with previous race wins in the series.
The winners list is all-star cast which includes 2023 double champion Caden Sarale, who won four total features last season to lift his career-total to a series-best eight triumphs. Tyler “TJ” Smith and Michael Faccinto are tied for second all-time Speedweek in wins with five triumphs each. Many Speedweek winners have also claimed Tulsa Shootout Drillers such as Chris Andrews, Jade Avedisian, Tristan Guardino, Jake Hagopian, and Nikko Panella. Two-time 2024 High Limit Racing winner Corey Day, High Limit and World of Outlaws winner Gio Scelzi, and 2023 Xtreme Outlaw Midgets champion Jade Avedisian, are alumni of Speedweek as well. National 360 and 410 Rookie of the Year Ryan Timms is also a former Speedweek feature winner.
Bakersfield’s Nathan Ward won a closely matched Restricted championship in 2023 over Blayden Graham of Bakersfield.
This illustrious group of drivers will get first dibs on entry for the Speedweek before it opens to the general racing world on April 26th at 8 a.m. Pacific Time as well.
